To enable the per-game setting go to BPM->Sekiro's library page->Controller Options->Steam Input Per-Game Setting and set that to "Forced On" To enable the global settings go to BPM->Settings->Controller Settings and check "Generic Gamepad" plus whatever controller type you are using. When Steam Input is enabled for Generic Gamepads or the Steam Input per-game setting is set to "Forced on" for a game all the misc HID Direct Input devices will be hidden from the game by our input hooks. You can also try hiding them via Steam Input (below). You can also try with Steam Input and swapping the controllers so the real one is player one (at end).įor other people - if you have devices with DirectInput axes like 3D mice, Keypads w/ Joysticks, HOTAS, Steering Wheels, etc try unplugging them. I think once you've eliminated that virtual controller Sekiro should work fine for you without Steam Input. If that doesn't work you can try to disable the driver via device manager. From googling it looks like the source of the virtual device might be this: Troubleshooting outside of Steam Sekiro is likely seeing that virtual device and locking onto it as player one so the real controller won't work.
